RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE – FASHION ISLAND, NEWPORT BEACH, CA

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate who wants to make a significant impact in our growing and dynamic Australian fashion label as it continues to expand in the USA. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service, delivering a total customer experience, and maintaining operational excellence. We value flexibility, and you must be available for rotational rosters, including weekends and evenings.

Your main responsibilities will include:

SALES & SERVICE:

• Collaborate with our Senior Management Team to achieve monthly team sales goals.

• Implement Joe Bananas unique selling tactics, tools and understand key business metrics relating to the store’s goals.

• Create an unparalleled customer experience for all visitors to our stores.

• Accurately record customer details and provide timely follow-up when necessary.

• Continuously learn and maintain knowledge of all our products and services.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

• Ensure a clear understanding of all communication and complete assigned operational tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

• Generate daily reports to keep track of store activities.

• Conduct regular inventory assessments and assist with stocktake procedures.

• Follow opening and closing policies and procedures meticulously.

PRODUCT & PRESENTATION:

· Always embody and uphold the highest standards of our company and brand while becoming an expert on Joe Bananas' inspiration narratives and products.

• Maintain excellent housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors and in the storeroom.

• Prepare online orders and ensuring shipments are presented impeccably.

To successfully perform in this role, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Availability to work a full-time equivalent schedule.

• Flexibility to accommodate rotational rosters.

• Weekend work is essential in this retail role.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take direction from Senior Management.

• Openness to receiving and implementing feedback.

• Previous experience in a customer service-oriented business is preferred, preferably in luxury fashion retail (but not essential).

• Strong work ethic, honesty, and personal integrity.

• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Shopify, Shopify POS, and HubSpot is a plus, although not essential.
